Don James is a devoted husband and father who grew up in Rockville, Maryland, where he enjoyed a rich upbringing filled with friendships, sports, art, and academics. At 17, he experienced a profound encounter with Jesus that transformed his life. In that moment, Don realized that Jesus is alive, that He loves us deeply, and desires to actively intervene in our lives.

While he continued his academic journey, focusing on engineering, Don’s greatest desire each day became setting aside time for prayer and scripture—thanking, praising, and listening to God.

Over the years, his passion became helping others experience the love of Jesus. He has been blessed to serve in various roles, including teaching, prayer ministry, and leading Life in the Spirit seminars. He also helped bring the Jesus film (a film based on the gospel of Luke) to the Catholic world during the Great Jubilee in the year 2000. He’s had the privilege to visit various parishes or communities in different parts of the world including Canada, Japan, England, Ireland, and Poland.
